The town ruled that Tucker the two-year-old golden retriever who bit Sunset Road Resident Emily Spinucci May 5 a dangerous dog May 14.The town ordered that Tucker be confined to his owner David Horrigan's home on Sunset Road behind either a locked pen or a fully-enclosed fence in the event that the dog returns to Nahant from Atlanta.The ruling also requires Horrigan to install an electrical fence around the perimeter of his house and that Tucker be neutered. In the event that the dog returns to Nahant, Tucker must be muzzled and confined to a leash no longer than three feet in length when it's not on Horrigan's property.
Emily Spinucci, of Nahant, said she was trying to help her neighbor, David Horrigan, after his golden retriever, Tucker, got loose. Spinochi said she saw the dog when he was squatting to do his business and when she grabbed his collar he bit her several times.
