MASSILLON – Jordyn Liegl has always wanted to be a Miss Massillonian. It s been a dream of mine since second grade, the Washington High senior said. My mom, an alum, told me about it and I was like, Yeah, I ll do that.
That drive helped Liegl to push herself to succeed. That just helped me to set high standards and succeed as much as I could through my educational career.
Her drive paid off. On Wednesday night, Liegl was named Miss Massillonian. Classmate Evan Peters was honored as Outstanding Senior Boy.
The winners of the prestigious award were announced during the high school awards ceremony.
