After five years of monotony of former disgraced governor spent this morning traveling through downtown chicago. The governor is a very close to being a completely free man. This is another step and a long journey. As he begins his transition back into the free world. He does so as a convicted felon. He would like me to tell you there he is grateful to leave the penitentiary. He is grateful also for the support and encouragement that he has received from many people.
