Phone call in oregon. A person reported seeing a frightened woman running down a road. We talked to the coos county sergeant over the phone. Caller reported by her she was kidnapped at knife point in her apartment complex in san jose. We were able to get her to safety and to the hospital. Reporter investigators say the victim roberted she was forced to drive north in her own car. She also says at some point, he hit her in the face. About eight hours later, they ran out of gas in bandon oregon, and she made a run for it. She hid in tall grass next to we have seed grass and stuff next to the ocean, was able to hide in an old lumber mill site, and he did not locate her, and he just walked away from there. darya a person of interest is being questioned after a grass fire in the oakland hills. It broke out yesterday morning near ascot and mastlands drives. That neighborhood is considered a high risk fire zone. Firefighters were able to quickly get a handle on it. But while firefighters were on scene, they found a man claiming to have been stabbed. Investigators say that man was anota stabbed and that person is now psychological evaluation. darya 12 people are without a home this morning after a fire broke out in sonoma. No one was injured in the fire but several cars were destroyed. The fire ruptured a gas line, causing at least four homes nearby to temporarily evacuate. The homeowner says she built the home 42 years ago. darya three people lived in the home, and nine other people who lived in buildings nearby are being assisted by the red cross. Finally made a run for it. County, oregon, say they got a 911 call on friday night reporting a friend woman who was running down the street in a community of brandon. You can see this image from google street view. The woman told investigators she had been kidnapped earlier that day and san jose by a man she did not know who made her drive all the way to oregon. She was told to drive north at the beginning and then they made a couple of stops along the way for fuel. As soon as the car came to a halt able to escape from the car and run into the brush. Reporter Authorities Say the woman was treated for bruises to her face. They do not believe she was sexually assaulted while being held captive.
