The Morning Bulletin understands a man in his 30s is being flown from Emerald Hospital because of injuries he suffered in a motorcycle crash this morning.
Paramedics responded to the motorcycle and car crash on Macaulay Road at 7.03am.
Their patient suffered head, arm, and chest injuries and was taken to Emerald Hospital.

A young boy was hospitalised after a quad bike rollover at Belcong on Friday morning.
Paramedics were called to the private address between Capella and Tieri just after 8am and treated the child who suffered chest and abdomen pain.
He was taken to Emerald Hospital in a stable condition.
It comes after a man in his 40s was killed in a motorcycle crash at Belcong on Wednesday.

It’s more than just a donation when Hitachi Emerald partners with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation – it’s giving back to the broader community that supports them.
The Emerald business has partnered with the children’s charity since 2012, purchasing more than $45,000 worth of equipment for Central Queensland Hospitals.
Its latest donation provided a pulse oximeter ($2180) and breast pump ($3470) for the Emerald Hospital.
“We are privileged to be in position where we can give back to our local community to create a lasting impact that extends beyond our business,” Hitachi Emerald administration manager Kathryn Lynam said.
Humpty Dumpty keeps a regularly updated ‘wish list’ of medical items needed in regional hospitals across Australia, which are purchased with the support of individuals and corporate partners.

Three people were hospitalised as a result of a crash at Emerald on Tuesday morning.
Paramedics assessed three patients at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Opal Street and Campbell Street at 10.24am.
All were taken to Emerald Hospital in stable conditions. qas emerald
