Erratically. Some of them werent able to fly. They seemed to be stumbling and disoriented. Reporter five of the eagles were captured in a field like this one. Three died on the way to the rescue. On sunday two more eagles were found in dags borrow, one was dead, the other taken to the rescue for treatment. This would be unusual. We get about 50 bald eagles a year here for treatment but we dont normally see cases like this. Reporter tests have been performed on the birds and the results should be back in a few days. Until then Officials Say theyll be trying to figure out whats causing the illness. We want to make sure that we can figure out what it is, narrow it down get it cleaned up and taken care of so we dont have additional eagles that are affected. Reporter now, if you do see any dead or sick bald eagles, Officials Say dont try to touch or capture them yourself. Instead, contact state fish and wildlife officials. Two more eagles were found in the same area on sunday, one of them dead. State and u. S. Fish and wildlife officials dont yet know whats causing the illness saying it could be environmental. Tests have been performed on the eagles and the lab results should be back in a few days. We need to figure it out so we can stop any kind of spread whether its biological or natural, you know, whatever has caused this. Reporter this comes about a month after 13 bald eagles were discovered dead about 30 miles away near federals burg maryland. In that case it was determined the eagles did not die of Natural Causes and the 25,000 reward is now being offered. Fish and wildlife officials do not believe the two cases are connected. In fact that man was seen at the airport wearing a white coat. The two other men that he was with are believed to be suicide bombers. Just a few minutes ago and belgium media identified them as brothers known to Police Reportedly with ties to the paris attacks.
