NEW HAVEN Police are investigating the alleged use of force by officers during the recent arrest of a 52-year-old man at the Connecticut Financial Center on Church Street, according to the department.
“Our department will conduct a transparent and thorough internal investigation to determine the appropriateness of the officers’ actions,” Police Chief Otoniel Reyes said in a prepared statement Wednesday. “We take use of force seriously and the Internal Affairs review will determine if the use of force was within the guidelines of department policy.”
