Mars Wrigley UK has unveiled a TV campaign in support of its Galaxy brands’ new look.
A packaging redesign to “modernise the brand for a new era” started rolling out at the end of last year across its entire core and seasonal chocolate portfolio.
The new Galaxy advert aired over the weekend featuring the latest pack design and its Smooth Milk, Salted Caramel and Smooth Caramel variants.
Ellyse O’Connor, Galaxy Senior Brand Manager said: “There won’t be many people in Britain who haven’t seen a Galaxy advert over the years. They have always served as great cultural markers of the time and have helped cement Galaxy chocolate into the hearts and minds of the British public. This beautiful new advert is no different and serves as further proof that the Galaxy brand never stands still.”

Mars has unveiled a major rebrand for Galaxy, after a disastrous year that saw the brand lose almost 15% of its value.
Galaxy – currently Britain’s second-biggest chocolate confectionery brand, behind Dairy Milk – has been given a new look Mars said would “modernise the brand for a new era”, with new packs set to roll out from the end of December onwards.
Mars has also launched two brand extensions in a bid to grow its appeal. The first, Galaxy Orange Block, will sit alongside the core bar and Galaxy Caramel.
