Your drive time should be eight minutes getting into San Francisco. I want to tell you that one person is facing dui charges after a Chain Reaction crash in san jose. Just after 3 00 this morning two cars crashed taking out a light pole on northbound interstate 680. The driver of one of the cars was arrested and police say the suspect was unde
250s on the temps. A couple upper 40s. The temperatures havent changed much. There is a southerly breeze and a southeast down in san jose. So the gilroy smell. People are out kind of early. I also want to mention we do have a problem in vallejo on west 80. There is a truck crash. Alex savidge will be telling us more about that live from the scene. Westbound 680 from crow canyon. There is a crash. The wreck is being moved to the side. Look at this westbound 580. But by the weekend it will be nice by the coast but warm to hot inland. We get more 90s. Today it will be more 80s. High pressure doesnt take much. Oakland will be nice downtown. Out of those 60s we will go into low 70s. Over all the fog is there. I mean it is sold out up and down the coast. The sea breeze which was just absolutely turbo charged has really died off considerably. 50s and 70s by noon. 60s and 70s and 80s. 46 novato. 46 santa rosa. A lot of 50s here. I think by 8 00 you bounce off of those pretty fast. It has really tailed off at fairfield, calm concord. Oakland a little south wind. Napa a little southwes
Now Jana Katsuyama joins us with an interview with that student and an eyewitness. Reporter he says that he had to come back to the hospital after he was feeling more pain after the attack. Along the way you see the guards right hand smack the student. Seconds later he hits him again. Martinez is thrown out of his wheelchair on to the floor. Reporter martinez gave us his account today as he left Childrens Hospital after he left to get another check up for his injury. He slapped me. He slapped me so hard that i fell off my chair. I had a scar right here. Reporter martinez says he had protested when the Security Guard tried to clear the hall and wheel him to class. He says the guard handcuffed him and he admits spitting on the guard in protest. But martinez says what was not caught on the tape was the guard beating him and throwing him to the ground after an elevator ride that was off camera. Martinez who has Cerebral Palsy says when he told the guard he was in pain he cursed at him. He
All i checked with School Officials who say the girl is being treated for injuries but they could not go into specific details. I did obtain a copy of the letter they sent out to parents saying they were outraged and they explained to the parents what they knew. The third Grade Student was outside on the playground around 10 40 this morning. A parent volunteer lured the guile into a near by bath the girl into a near by bathroom then the woman assaulted the girl with a hammer. Students who were near by said they were scared. I just saw the police, they were coming into the boys bathroom. Reporter the alleged attacker is hasima deyame not a stranger but a parent well known on campus who was a frequent volunteer. Investigators are still trying to figure out a motive. School Officials Say it appears the woman did have a connection with the students family. It may have something to do with rivalries and feuds occur off campus spilling over on site. Reporter School Officials were sent home.
