If you look at the Financial Services bill that has gone through appropriations. Not only is the irs defunded for but they have cut the budget. I think the same thing needs to happen with the possible examination of the nsa. But i do not think we ought to immediately toss out a program until we think about it and look at it, you know, and the Homeland Security people on both sides of the aisle tell us it has done the job. Ok. One thing i would like to point out though if the program were abused, we would not know. Let me rephrase that. We would not know it until it was too late. Know or have i read that the way this deal was supposed to work was when the controversy first kind of started, they were going to monitor these phone calls to find terrorists outside the United States.
