Cortney White On Saturday night, several Bowerman Track Club runners earned places on all-time lists at The Ten, a 10,000-meter race hosted by Sound Running. Elise Cranny won the women’s race in 30:47.42, earning the No. 3 spot on the U.S. all-time list. Karissa Schweizer finished less than a second behind, nabbing the No. 4 all-time spot. In the men’s race, Marc Scott crossed the line first in 27:10.41 good enough for second on the U.K. all-time list, behind four-time Olympic champion Mo Farah. Ten runners achieved the Olympic standard in the event. Under the lights of the track in San Juan Capistrano, California, several members of the Bowerman Track Club (BTC) earned spots on 10,000-meter all-time lists on Saturday night.

USA’s Athing Mu sped to a 50.52 clocking to win the 400m at the Charlie Thomas Invitational in College Station. If ratified, the 18-year-old’s time would improve the official world U20 indoor record of 50.82 set by 2012 Olympic champion Sanya Richards-Ross. The fastest indoor time ever achieved by an U20 sprinter, however, remains the 50.36 clocking set by Sydney McLaughlin in 2018; her time could not be ratified as a world U20 indoor record. Mu now moves to 20th on the senior world all-time indoor list and fourth on the senior US list.
