新开岭战役纪念碑成为当地红色名片-新闻-北国网

　　纪念碑建成后，凤城市多次对纪念碑主体和碑座进行全面修缮，并将散葬在周边的326位烈士遗骸迁葬在陵园内。据赵海津介绍，当时烈士散葬墓地主要集中在老爷山下、龙道村山上和新开岭村一条沟里。开掘烈士墓，只能用作业铲等工具或直接徒手挖掘。其间，他们发现了上百件烈士遗物，如皮带扣、茶缸、子弹夹等。 　　据当地老人回忆，当年在战斗中，村民给东北民主联军将士送水送饭，在攻打老爷山时，村民还组织了担架队运送伤员。村民们冒着生命危险将牺牲的战士安葬在当地。 　　“75年前，新开岭战役就发生在这里，英烈们长眠于此，他们身上的铁血浩气激励我们传承革命精神。充分挖掘整理这段历史、保护好新开岭战役曾经的战场遗址，这是我们的使命。”赵海津说。 　　“这些是我们的父辈亲身经历过的历史，我们有必
