The documents say officers continued to notice that ganlts car had expired tags and citations could have been issued but a memo was sent out to the Police Department in august of 2014 from the chief pro hinting police from enforcing parking regulations in the community where gant lives. Investigators say wasnt until february of 2014 when a wtop reporter started asking questions about the unpaid ticket that action was taken and it was partially paid in cash. Chief walkers attorney bob says his client is innocent. The filing of these charges is absurd. This appears to be a renegade act by a subordinate officer. Reporter now, the States Attorneys Office still has to screen these charges to see if there is enough evidence to move forward. Were told that process could happen over the next couple weeks. Now, what Police Believe occurred here is that this suv was traveling in virginia there is another vehicle following the suv. They then believe that they came into the district on 295 and right around 8 45 thats when someone in the other vehicle opened fire on the suv. There were two men inside one of those men was killed he is still inside the vehicle here on the scene. The other person was transported to the hospital with bullet wounds. Now, there were a lot of people in the area obviously, because of the hour the middle of rush hour. Lots of people we got lots of 911 calls. The problem is they didnt get a lot of detailed information about the other vehicle involved how many other suspect there is may be and they want people who were in the area and saw something, police want you to give them a call and provide them with those details. But i think we can say weve done some good for the country. R if the bill eventually becomes law, the bush era tax cuts will be permanently extended for everyone making less than 400,000 a year. And families making less than 450,000 a year. It will also keep the alternative minimum tax for the wealthy from hitting millions of middleclass families. Middleclass families will wake up today to the assurance that their taxes wont go up 2,200 each. Reporter the Senate Agreement delays 110 billion in spending cuts that were due to kick in today for another two months.
