Doha: Gaussin Company announced yesterday the testing of the first electric vehicles in Qatar at Ras Bufontas Free Zone. Gaussin, a leader in clean and intelligent cargo and people mobility, rolled out the first batch of Electric Terminal Tractors – the APM 75T – for QTerminals, a terminal operating company that manages and operates the first phase of Hamad Seaport.
The testing of the e-vehicles took place in front of Gaussin’s factory at Ras Bufontas Free Zone, and it was attended by Minister of State and Chairman of QFZA, H E Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed; Ambassador of France in Qatar, Franck Gellet; CEO Qatar Ports Management Co.
