youngkin is being seduced, by or willfully participating in, the submerged of our democracy, and he should be rejected for that reason. i m going to play, you there s a hearing today in the senate. senate judiciary committee on election voting, writes the john lewis voting rights act, i m going to play you watch a crassly giving his, basically this is the mitch mcconnell republican party view, of the gentleman s voting rights act, which is by the, way quite modest, it essentially is a restoration of the voting rights act, as it existed before and officiated. here s chuck grassley. the unfortunate reality is that this hearing is another attack on the supreme court. in this bill is yet another attempt at federal takeover of state and local elections. it russell s control of elections, away from the state. and into the hands of the biden department of justice.
he s part of the problem, too. he s saying this is not going to go through. what manchin has put fort he s say, is still not acceptable. they also want to make sure there s a certain type of voter i.d. that is important for the integrity of our election, critical to make sure one person, one vote. i worked in the secretary of state s office as a deputy secretary of state overseeing elections. we need to have a focus on election integrity, for reps, voter i.d. is a part of it. there s no widespread voter fraud. none. none. that s the shame of all of this. lies. all of these election voting changes that are taking place in these states, they re predicated on lies, on the big lie. on lies.

republicans need these more rural counties. this is a test. the president was right there telling his people, we need you, come out. at the moment, dan bishop is winning, but maybe not by the margin he needs. third largest county is right here, robeson county. dan mccready winning by a healthy margin. the early vote tends to come in for the democrats and then we watch the day of the election voting, see if the republican catches up. you re comparing this in a district republicans have held forever. president trump con this county by about five points. the republican won by four or five points in the presidential election. the democrat is winning it right now by 20 points. if you re in republican headquarters, that concerns you. and lastly, we talked about the suburbs. mecklenburg county, the charlotte areas, they ve been moving away from the republican party. president trump has put that on steroids. will it happen here in the fayetteville mccready winning.
