(Cincinnati, OH) - The Hamilton County Sheriff is releasing a few details but not enough yet to tell the whole story about why 30-year-old Ire Johnson was shot dead. And what possible relationship, if any, she had with the suspect whose name hasn t been released.
Johnson was murdered outside the Kenwood Greene condos in the 7700 block of Montgomery Road in Sycamore Township Monday afternoon around 4:00. The suspect then allegedly stole a Honda Odyssey at gunpoint on nearby Euclid Road, which Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey says he drove to his house on Home Street in Silverton. The suspect was critically injured after allegedly setting his house on fire. He survived a resulting explosion.
