RENSSELAER FALLS – Outdoor programs will be restarting for the Indian Creek Nature Center’s spring and summer programs. The 320 acres of woods and wetlands is free and open to the public, located on CR 14 off Rt. 68, between Canton and Ogdensburg.
• The public is invited to join the Indian Creek Nature Center board members for their spring workday Saturday, May 1 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Tools will be supplied or bring your own to set the center in order from the winter. Call leader Roger Hutchinson at 315-386-4795.
• A spring bird walk for Migratory Bird Day is planned for Saturday May 15, starting at 8 a.m. with leaders Eileen Wheeler and Joan Howlett. See colorful bird species and hear their songs as they are returning to the center to nest or passing through. Binoculars, long pants and insect repellant are recommended.
