The Arctic tern is a great traveller, and
spends most of the year on the move, with long periods over

1. Celebrate Migratory Bird Day
Families can celebrate Migratory Bird Day at 10:30 Saturday at Taylor Park, 900 E. Stephenson St., Freeport. Activities will include team nest building, obstacle courses, kite flying and snacks. 2. Admire area wildlife
The Northwest Illinois Audubon Society will host a visit to Mississippi Palisades State Park to observe signs of spring at 9 a.m. Saturday. The park is home to unusual wildflowers and birds.
