Those 11 sessions make Matt Michaels the longest serving presiding officer the history of the south dakota state legislature. Lets recognize and thank him for that service. By launching criminal investigations of stories that are outside the mainstream coverage, they are trying to in effect held a pathway on which journalism can be conducted.
