National Security Advisor Dr Moeed Yusuf has said that initial investigations into the recent terrorist attack in Lahore have provided concrete evidence of Indian involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
Dr Moeed Yusuf said this while addressing a joint press conference along with Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry and Inspector General of Police Punjab, Inam Ghani here on Sunday.
Dr Moeed said the mastermind and handlers of the blast have been identified through forensic analysis of the electronic equipment recovered from the terrorists involved in the incident. He said, “We have absolutely no doubt that the main mastermind of the blast is an Indian national, who belongs to the Indian intelligence agency RAW.”

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Sunday the planning and financing of the bomb blast in Lahore’s Johar Town last month “has links to Indian sponsorship of terrorism against Pakistan” as the investigations revealed “undoubted linkages of the terrorist racket to India”.
On June 23, a car bomb went off at a police picket near the residence of Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed in Lahore, which killed three people and wounded 22. The explosion damaged 12 vehicles and seven nearby houses.
The findings of the investigations in the aftermath of the terror attack were revealed on Sunday in a press conference conducted by National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf, Punjab Inspector General of Police Inam Ghani and Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s National Security Adviser Dr. Moeed Yusuf said on Sunday that the mastermind of last month’s deadly bomb attack in Lahore was an Indian intelligence operative.
Three people were killed and 24 injured when an explosive-laden car blew up in Lahore’s Johar Town area on June 23.
During a press conference in Islamabad, Yusuf told reporters there were no doubts regarding the suspect’s links to India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
“We have identified the main mastermind and the handlers of this terrorist attack, and we have absolutely no doubt or reservation in informing you that the main mastermind belongs to RAW, the Indian intelligence agency, is an Indian national and based in India,” he said.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan said on Sunday it had “concrete evidence” about the involvement of India in the last month’s Johar Town blast in Lahore as Prime Minister Imran Khan asked the international community to act against New Delhi for its “rogue behaviour”.
Addressing a joint news conference with federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry and Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Inam Ghani, National Security Adviser (NSA) Dr Moeed Yusuf disclosed that the investigations carried out by the country’s security and intelligence agencies had found “undoubted and concrete” evidence and linkages of the terrorist attack to India.
The NSA said the forensic analysis of the equipment, including telephones, used in the blast showed the main mastermind and all handlers had links to India. He said all local handlers had been arrested.
