The latest study conducted by a Kenyan researcher, which was published on April 2 by the University of Nairobi, concluded that individuals with blood group O+ and B+ were susceptible to the virus. Dr Auhoud Sultan Al-Shehail, media chief at Riyadh s King Saud University

Auhoud Sultan Al-Shehail has been appointed chairwoman of the media department at Riyadh’s King Saud University (KSU), in addition to her role as a spokeswoman for the university and media adviser to the KSU president. She was previously vice chair of the media department and an assistant professor at KSU’s faculty of arts. Al-Shehail has held other academic positions, including lecturer and teaching assistant, at KSU’s media department. She has been an adviser to the Ministry of Education since 2017, was a member of the media issues committee at the Al-Shehail Prime Legal Support law firm, and a media director at Starcom MediaVest Group.

The world has been fighting off the pandemic for over a year, and while there have been downward trends in COVID-19 cases, doctors are still finding new symptoms of the disease. Recent months have had a plethora of reports about the loss of sense of smell and taste among COVID-19 patients, but now, anecdotal reports found a new one called COVID tongue, reported Yahoo! Life. CDC recently noted that, as can be seen in the discovery of the COVID tongue, its current list of COVID-19 symptoms does not cover all possible symptoms, reported Market Watch.

Dr Fahad Sulaiman Altekhaifi, Shoura Council member

Before his appointment, Altekhaifi served as president of the General Authority for Statistics between 2016 and 2020.
