Elizabeth Sue Crouse Wilson Elizabeth Sue Crouse Wilson, age 89, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2021, in Jupiter surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  Sue was born on April 19, 1931, in Bradford, Tenn., to the late Grover C. and Clara Kate Jewell, and lived most of her younger years in Rutherford, Tenn.  Rutherford was a small cotton farming community where she lived as a child and worked with her seven siblings on the farm.  All of Sue’s siblings have passed, except a younger brother, Buddy Jewell, who still resides in Tennessee. During high school, Sue was crowned queen of her high school beauty pageant two years in a row in 1947 and 1948.

Stephen H. Crouse, 70, of Tanglewood Manor, died Nov. 26, 2020, at UPMC Chautauqua. Steve was born Oct. 7, 1950, in Steamburg, N.Y., the second youngest of the nine children of the late Carl and Alma Nephew Crouse. After graduating from Salamanca High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, becoming a paratrooper. For his service in Viet-nam, Steve was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (second medal with four campaign stars), Army Award, two Air Medals, Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for Heroism in Ground Combat. After his honorable discharge, Steve worked at Bush Industries in accounts payable, and earned an as-sociate degree in business administration from James-town Community College.
