GODFREY Lewis and Clark Community College’s popular College for Life program for adults who have disabilities will continue offering a virtual option for participants this fall after a successful first run during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program is enrolling now for the summer and fall semesters.
“We’re keeping our virtual program open for students who don’t feel comfortable coming to campus yet,” said College for Life’s Roselyn Ellington, coordinator, “and for students who live far away from campus. This past year, we had seven out-of-state students take part in our virtual program.

GODFREY Lewis and Clark Community College volunteers provided 107 students and families with frozen meals prepared by L&C Chef Tim Weaver during a food giveaway Dec. 21-22.
Distribution centers were located at the Godfrey Campus, Scott Bibb Center and Edwardsville’s N.O. Nelson Campus. Gift cards and bags of nonperishable food items were also given away along with toys and Christmas trees, which were donated by Scott Air Force Base.
All leftover food was taken to the Alton Crisis Food Pantry by the L&C Veterans Club. Newsletter signup
