NASA meticulously selected organizations nationwide to receive Moon Tree seedlings from the Artemis I mission. These seedlings, having circled the Moon, will now be planted in various communities. The concept of Moon trees originated from seeds flown aboard Apollo 14 in 1971, championed by Edward P. Cliff and astronaut Stuart Roosa.
