I want to look at a new discipline out of battlefield archaeology of the First World War and justify why we do it and look at case studies. Case studies relating the to individuals found on projects starting really in 2005, coming through at the last few years. Before i start, because this is a serious subject, i just want to start with a joke. Its the british way. I was asked to give a talk to the society of genealogists.
