ETC Summer Camps are back for in-person theatre and filmmaking!
Theatre and Film are uniquely suited for the return to in-person learning. We teach students about negative space air between performers and how we use it to tell a story. Audience experiences are primarily led by the director’s choice of stage movement (blocking). In ETC-on-Film, we teach students to choose strong shots to enhance storytelling.
Using the tool of imagination, a common camp warm-up is passing the ball of energy. We make eye contact to connect with another person across the room and “send” them energy through vocal and physical gestures.
