LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - High schoolers in Lexington School District One will be heading back to the classroom four days a week beginning on March 1st.
The students will receive face-to-face instruction Monday through Thursday with Friday remaining an e-learning day. 9th through 12th graders have been in a hybrid model where students attend two days in person since the Fall.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Richland One School District has announced it will be returning to hybrid learning,
Schools will move out of e-learning into hybrid learning beginning on Monday, February 1, according to Richland One Superintendent Craig Witherspoon.
All students in the district will have two days of in-person learning and three days of virtual learning. Schools will provide additional information to parents next week.
Beginning February 16, only elementary students in the district will go to four days of in-person learning.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A group of students from Lexington-Richland 5 high schools showed up with masks, and signs Monday evening, asking for district leaders to keep their safety in mind as they look at moving back to five day face-to-face learning.
According to the districtâs website, all students will be returning to face-to-face learning on February 1st.

âI never thought itâd be this big political issue, keeping people safe. Keeping people from getting sick, and it became one,â student Haley Dorsey said. Many students at the protest are asking that, at the very least, the district just keeps the four days in-person/one-day virtual schedule theyâre currently using.
