The trailer opens with Suki Waterhouse s character Camille arriving at an exclusive all-girls academy. She is having a bit of trouble fitting in at first. We then learn about an alleged spirit that haunts the halls of the school. Camille then decides to join a group of her fellow students in a ritual to try and summon this spirit. RLJE Films and Shudder have picked up the North American rights to the horror film
Seance, which stars Suki Waterhouse and Inanna Sarkis.
RLJE Films plans a theatrical, on-demand and digital release on May 21, 2021, and Shudder will debut the horror pic on its streaming platform later this year.
Seance sees Camille Meadows (Waterhouse) arrive at the prestigious Edelvine Academy for Girls and be invited to a late-night ritual summoning the spirit of a dead former student.
