CORONAVIRUS cases have doubled in two days across Northern Ireland, with a further 1,380 people testing positive.
No further deaths have been recorded, leaving the death toll since the pandemic began at 2,159, according to the Department of Health.
On Wednesday, 636 new positive cases were confirmed.
