Local businesses come together to raise money for Elberta High School student Posted

ELBERTA - Three local businesses came together in support of local high school student Blaine Wilson. Wilson, a student at Elberta High School, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2008. Since, he has battled MD.
To help his family with the expenses of treatments, medications, and hospital bills, EDM Security, Elberta Co-Op and Beebe’s Pest Control came together to host a fundraising event. All proceeds from the event went to the Wilson family. Eddie Hamlin of EDM Security and friend of the Wilson family spearheaded the event, with Elberta Co-Op providing the location and entertainment and Beebe’s providing dinner plates, which sold out during the event.
