Jackson County adds seven new COVID-19 cases

Murray and Nobles counties each report six new cases. 11:20 am, Apr. 9, 2021 × REGIONAL Another seven residents of Jackson County tested positive for COVID-19 during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Thursday, while Murray and Nobles counties each had six new cases, Cottonwood County had five, Pipestone County had four and Rock County reported two. The new cases were among 2,659 reported during the one-day period to the Minnesota Department of Health. The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases statewide rose to 537,828 (positive and antigen tests), with 512,029 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 39,847 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.

Nobles County reports 10 new cases during latest 24-hour reporting period. 11:19 am, Apr. 8, 2021 × REGIONAL Jackson County recorded another 17 positive COVID-19 results among its residents during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Wednesday, while Nobles County recorded 10 new cases, Cottonwood and Murray counties recorded eight new cases each, Pipestone County had three new cases and Rock County added one new case of the virus. The new cases were among 2,535 during the one-day period, as reported by the Minnesota Department of Health today. The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases statewide rose to 535,182 (positive and antigen tests), with 510,959 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 39,741 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.

Five more Nobles County residents test positive for COVID-19

Saliva testing site is open at the Worthington Event Center. 11:23 am, Feb. 25, 2021 × REGIONAL Nobles County recorded five more cases of COVID-19 during the 24-hour reporting period that ended at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cottonwood, Jackson, Murray, Pipestone and Rock counties each recorded one new case. Statewide, there were 996 new cases reported during the one-day period, bringing the state’s cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases to 481,831 (positive and antigen tests), with 468,498 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 37,580 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus. Seven new deaths were also reported during the one-day period, including three individuals who resided in private residences and four individuals who resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities. Minnesota’s death toll from the virus now stands at 6,450, including 4,044 residents of long-term care facilities.
