The boys father is cooperating but still there are many Unanswered Questions tonight. State police in bucks county detectives worked into the night collecting evidence trying determine whether twoyearold Benjamin Austin smith did in fact get hold of a gun and accidentally shoot himself in the chest. Morning, police jolted a couple out of bed seeking the person responsible for downloading and sharing tens of thousands of images of child pornography. A sweep of the couples dpurt found nothing, but investigators soon discovered their wifi network was not pass word protected. What that means is anyone with a wifi enabled device near their home could access their connection and use it with bad intentions. Unfortunately the older generation is certainly a target for hackers like this, because they may not be understanding what kind of technology theyre putting in place. It sets you up to be extremely vulnerable. Reporter thats exactly what police say happened when a 55yearold man used the wireless router to connect to his neighbors unsecured wifi to download and distribute the more than 700 pornographic videos and 33,000 images found on his laptop. Shot in the chest inside his milford township home this morning. The initial call was that the toddler had gotten hold avenue gun and shot himself. Whether it was self up flicked or not thats the matter for investigation to determine. Reporter boy was rush to st. Luke hospital in quakertown where he died. You see the ambulance up there. They were only there for a couple minutes. So they brought him out real quick. Reporter the little boy was home only with his father Nicholas Wiley late this morning when the gun went off. Its believed the childs mother lived here and work just across the street but abruptly moved out earlier this summer. Also, living here the boys grandparents who arrived home to get the tragic news. If the twoyearold did get a gun, neighbors want tongue why. Theres no reason to have a gun anywhere that any child could get a hold of.
