Winona Slated to Receive Over $3 Million From Rescue Plan

By TJ Mar 12, 2021 10:38 AM (KWNO)- The City of Winona could see over $3 million in federal funding from the American Rescue Plan, which was signed into law Thursday.   That’s according to Mayor Scott Sherman. During an interview on KWNO’s In the Know Friday, Sherman said it wasn’t appropriate for him to say where the money would go at this point but offer a general direction for the money.   “In general, we’re going to be looking to use it wisely. We’re going to be looking to use it so it potentially helps to create other funding options,” Sherman said.
