Inside Florida State universitys main library. Students in the building huddled together as an officer talked over a loudspeaker. If anybody has been shot, call 911 on your cell phone. Reporter the shooting happened around midnight inside. Ier library open 24 hours. Three people were injured and taken to the hospital. The fsu police challenged the gunman outside the library. They gave him commands. He did not and fired a shot at the officers. Reporter the gunman was shot and killed. With finals approaching, the library was pack with hundreds when the shooting happened. A photo from the student inside the Library Shows bags abandoned as well as laptops as well as an officer checking bags as the building was cleared and students leaving with their hands up. The Tallahassee Police department is now leading the investigation. We have forensic technicians on scene. We have our homicide investigators on scene. Multiple shots were fired in the School Library at the heart of the tallahassee campus. At least three people were wounded.
