Machete. Multiple officers from Campus Police and the Boulder Police department responded. One officer from each of those agencies fired at the man when he allegedly would not obey the command, to drop the weapon. At this time the suspect is not known to the police. We are still working on properly identifying him. Reporter this afternoon 911 was called again for a man with a gun in front of a starbuck that was the coffee shop on University Hill or one inside the University Memorial center which is on campus. So that building was put on another active shooter situation. And many people fled in the chaos. In the end, no threats were found. A Boulder County joint Investigation Team is now looking into this officer involved shooting. We do not know the identity of the man who was allegedly carrying that weapon. We have the daytime closures of mississippi as you get to the east of santa fe out to broadway and the closures picked up through the weekend and back in place on monday. Theres a shooting in lakewood, live to center in e west block. Reporter Police Received a call around 1248 tum tim this morning. Right now theyre foe cusing on one particular car in a driveway. The neighbor came outside to see what was going on and he saw a couple people trying to break in a car to steal it. Shots were fired and the neighbor was hit and he was just trying to do the right thing. Nonlife threatening injuries. Some bullets did strike the car so police are on scene investigating where that happened. Suspects are unknown at this point in time. The vehicle description is unknown but they took off in a car.
