Parkland RCMP arrest Edmonton man wanted on warrants

Article content A Parkland RCMP officer was conducting patrols in the Acheson industrial area on May 10, when he observed a male sleeping in a parked vehicle. An investigation revealed the vehicle fled from Slave Lake RCMP earlier that morning when police attempted to stop it. RCMP tried to speak to the suspect, but he fled at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was located a short time later and the suspect was observed walking along the road. After spotting police, the suspect ran into a wooded area, where the RCMP set up a containment, located the suspect and arrested him without incident.

Man who evaded northern Alberta RCMP arrested west of Edmonton

EDMONTON An Edmonton man is in police custody after allegedly fleeing Parkland County Mounties. Police say they found Wayne Parsons, 38, sleeping in a parked vehicle Monday evening near the Acheson Industrial area. The vehicle had been used to flee northern Alberta RCMP in Slave Lake earlier that day, police said. Parsons is accused of driving away from Parkland County Mounties, as well, and running away into a wooded area. He was eventually arrested, and allegedly found with break-and-enter tools, a can of bear spray and methamphetamine. He faces five charges and is scheduled to appear in Stony Plain provincial court on May 12.

After all, I am the great and powerful governor placed in this powerful and “dignified” position by being duly elected. You placed me here to do as I please and not be held responsible for my actions for I am above the law, right? You put me here and now must be “subjected” to whatever “eye” see fit to bestow on my “subjects.” Give him a break. Snap his term and make him leave by resignation or whatever means possible. Who wants an official in office who can’t even control his hands or actions. And what has he been up to and not been caught at yet?
