Duval County Public Schools superintendent Dr. Diana Greeneās departure, which was approved by the school board on Tuesday, comes after more than a month of scrutiny following the arrest of a high school music teacher and the subsequent reassignment of three other teachers during the investigation.
The principal of the school alerted parents Tuesday that Corey Thayer had been reassigned based on information received during its ongoing investigation. Thayer is chair of the cinematic arts department.
