Apr 23, 2021 - 06:56 pm By Staff Reporter Relegation-threatened Maritzburg United were held to a 1-1 draw by Baroka FC in DStv Premiership action on Friday evening. No further than three changes highlighted Maritzburg’s eleven from the loss to Orlando Pirates in Judas Moseamedi, Dusan Stevic and Riyaaz Ismail, with Jostlin Kamatuka the visitors’ only change. Maritzburg made the breakthrough following a quiet opening after Thabiso Kutumela came short in the area midway in the first half to blast Moseamedi’s layoff into the top corner. The visiting side could’ve gone level moments before the half-hour mark from a corner-kick, but Denwin Farmer directed the resultant delivery to the back-post inches wide.
