Maritzburg United veteran defender Clayton Daniels has commented on reports regarding the club s potential sale.
Over the past few days, news emerged about the Pietermaritzburg-based club seeking to sell their DStv Premiership status.
Understandably so, some of the club s players are said to be worried by the news.
According to reports, club chairman Farook Kadodia is willing to listen to offers from potential buyers, if he is unable to find additional income ahead of the 2021/22 Season.
Daniels says that he is not overly concerned by such reports personally, as club sales have become a norm in South African football.
Former South Africa under-20 coach Thabo Senong has resigned as Lesotho senior national team head coach with a return home being lined up.
Senong tendered his resignation to the Lesotho Football Association just one week before Likuena are set to take part in the Cosafa Cup tournament in Mzansi next month.
The former Amajita mentor failed to win any games since joining Lesotho back in 2019, only recording seven draws and six losses in his 13 games in charge.
According to a statement released by the Lesotho FA, Leslie Notsi will take charge of Likuena for the upcoming regional tournament.
