And in the nations capitol, the words black lives matter. Look at this. This is just remarkable. Black lives matter em blazened on the road that leads straight to the white house. The letters so large, they can be seen from space. Thats what youre looking at. Across the way on capitol hill, a new development in the floyd case. His brother will testify before congress this week. In washington, protesters have been making their voices heard outside the white house, the capitol and the lincoln memorial. [ gunshots ] breaking overnight, two Police Officers in st. Louis county shot outside the Ferguson Police department. A night of protests in ferguson winding down when shots rang out. Acknowledgement nine months ago would have kept that from happening. Witnesses report hearing multiple shots and seeing one officer down. Bullets went right past my head. It was kind of traumatic, im still kind of in shock because of it. The injuries are in serious, one st. Louis county officer was shot in the shoulder. Another officer, a Webster Groves officer shot in the face. These Police Officers were standing there and they were shot. Just because they were Police Officers. Earlier, police drew their guns during a scuffle between protesters. Police making multiple arrests. Some protesters cheered at the resignation of police chief tom jack
