Guns, Boots, and Brands Kiwanis of Lander uses fundraisers to give back Abby Maidl
LANDER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Like many fund raisers this year, this Lander Kiwanis chapter decided to go virtual. This is the 6th annual fund raiser “Guns, Boots, and Brands,” which is their biggest of the year and brings in between $14,000 to $18,000 in revenue. Aside from the amount needed to run the club and keep the lights on, the rest is placed back into the hands of community members and nonprofit organizations.
A virtual table can be purchased, or you can buy an individual ticket. With the tickets you will be entered in a drawing for your choice of five art pieces, two of them valued at $1,200. They also have a 22 revolver, Glock 19, and a 65 Creed More with a scope. Other options to place your ticket are for a one day fishing trip with Dunoir Fishing Adventures, a stocked Yeti cooler, or a pair of Maven binoculars.
