× Donations DECC donated over four thousand pounds of food to CHUM. Pictured are (l to r): Steve Rankila, DECC; Jake Magdzas, DECC; Scott Van Daele, CHUM; and Roger Reinert, DECC. CHUM received 4,186 pounds of frozen food from the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Ensuring spaces within the DECC complex are ready for activity is a critical step as the DECC prepares for an increase in events. Clearing the freezers of older inventory is one step in that process. The food was maintained properly, but is nearing expiration dates. Since it s not usable by the DECC, they donated it to help others.
