The Sheriffs Office says 25 year old Jared Bushell fell through some ice in the hawkeye wildlife area on new years eve. Bushell was up to his rescuers pulled him out about an hour later. One sheriffs lieutenant says bushell could have died if he hadnt had a working cell phone with him. Dubuque police havent released information about what led up to a shooting that injured a 2 yearold boy. It happened around 11 45 last night at 942 main street. On december 9th, moodys investors servicic downgraded the citys bond rating. Thats generally seen as a negative reflection of the citys finances and can make it harder for coralville to borrow money the bond rating dropped to the owest rating of Investment Grade on moodys scale. The company rated coralville this way because of its high debt and liabilities. Liabilities include things like ownership of a hotel and performance center.
