That sheldon sliver immediately loses his seat in the wake of this guilty verdict. As you recall he stepped down as speaker of the assembly when he was indicted in january. At this point we believe sheldon sliver is still in the courthouse. I just talked to the u. S. A message on twitter promising to shoot every black student on campus. Now there is a charge for making those threats. Brian thompson is live from union. Brian . Reporter chuck, it is the former president. Shes no longer a student here, she graduated last spring. News she had been charged spread very quickly on this campus. Just as quickly, we have learned that late this afternoon she has begun receiving death threats. In fact, im being told that union police will now patrol her home actively just a few miles from this campus. The charge against 24yearold former student, former homecoming queen kayla simone mc mckelvey follows nearly two weeks this black lives matter protest. It served dozens after a tweet went out threatening them. Now the Union Prosecutor said demonstrators, sent the tweet anonymously. Everyone there tried to understand.
