Outdoor cinema event chaos as cars towed from waterlogged field in Rainham

Cars had to be towed to safety from an outdoor cinema event when the venue turned into a quagmire.
Nightflix Drive-in Cinema had to cancel the private screening event in a field off Spade Lane, Rainham, and bring in a tow truck to help people leave the venue.

The company confirmed six cars had be towed out of the mud to safety.
A statement added: âDue to unforeseen circumstances, we made the decision to cancel last nightâs private screening in the Rainham location due to the field becoming severely waterlogged.
