Sincerely Daisy is a 2020 Kenyan coming-of-age romantic comedy film produced and directed by popular actor Nick Mutuma. The film stars Ella Maina, Brian Abejah, Sam Psenjen and Mbeki Mwalimu in the lead roles. The film was released in Netflix on 9 October 2020 and became the first ever Kenyan feature film to be released via Netflix. It is also the second Kenyan film to be released in the platform after short film Poacher. The film became one of the highly anticipated films in Netflix after its trailer was released on 2 September 2020.

The actress received the trophy for the Best Feature Film for the 95-minute film which picked wins in the Best Sound Design, Best Supporting Actor in a Film, Best Editor, Best Special Effects, Best Original Score, Best Original Screenplay, Best Lighting and Best Production Designer.

It is all systems go for this year’s Kalasha International Film and TV awards that will be held in Nairobi today. Timothy Owase, the Kenya Film Commission CEO promises a major show in the annual event that seeks to celebrate the crème de la crème of the local movie industry. The event will be attended by Joe Mucheru, the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology Cabinet Secretary.
