HOPKINS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - The Hopkins County Sheriffâs Office is investigating a crash that left one with what they believe to be serious injuries.
Officials say they responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 813 and Drakes Creek Road on Thursday.
They say a woman was driving north on Highway 813 when she crossed into the opposite lane. They say she left the road and went into a ditch before colliding into a tree.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash that sent a White Plains woman to the hospital with severe injuries.
According to a news release, the crash occurred Thursday at the intersection of Highway 813 and Drakes Creek Road, when a vehicle driven by 47-year old Misty Carlton of White Plains left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle went into a ditch and collided with a tree before coming to a stop.
Carlton was flown by helicopter to a Nashville hospital for treatment of serious injuries. );
