good morning. welcome to mornings on 2. it s thursday, february 23rd. in sunnyvale, firefighters have a mystery on their hands following an overnight house fire. they say there is no sign of the family of four who lives in the home. ktvu s christian kasdin joins us live. and when will firefighters be able to search inside the home? reporter: that is the question. they re just now starting that search. let s give you our first look inside that home now as the sun has come up. we ve been able to move closer to the home and you can see the extent of damage. you can get a sense of how much work there really is. and you can also see why they need those structural engineers to come in here to figure out whether or not it s safe to go inside. you can see that the inside of the home is completely burned out. the concern here that the family of four, the mother, father and two children, all unaccounted for. we have new video we shot in the last 15 minutes of the fire investigators s
street where there are 76 bars and restaurants in the area. the first violent incident of the weekend happened around 1:30 sunday morning in this parking garage and we have video of the fight. cameras recorded three men fighting inside a garage elevator. then continuing out in the street. police arrived quickly and arrested a 23 year and his 20- year-old brother. they are both from bay point. 20 minutes later 15 people started fighting inside a restaurant. police used pepper spray on them. the manager said he tried to stop it. there is nothing i could have done. people are coming out of bars and they are drunk. all we do is sell food. we don t sell alcohol past ten. reporter: a few minutes later two groups started fighting outside hub cap s diner. drinking fighting have been happening all to often in downtown walnut creek. i consider it a very safe area except saturday night and maybe identified night. reporter: officials say beginning weekend there will be more polic
