Marcus, back to you. New overnight, chp officers arrested a driver after a highspeed chase through the south bay. The video shows officers taking that driver into custody. This is before midnight. This is near capital and mckie in san jose. But that chase covered parts of 280 and 680. Sometimes at speeds of more than 120 miles per hour. Officers then corralled him when he exits the freeway which youll see here. Into the city was for neighborhood. All the water nearly covering the place and lining up the steps and pole. This is another video from the area. The street looked like a river. A lot of water flowing off of the sidewalks and cars had to slow down to make it through the intersection. It was a similar scene in the east bay.
