Bus service will also resume saturday. And as people return to their homes and businesses, cleanup efforts are getting underway. That means removing tens of thousand of sandbags in the coming days. The city has two locations for homeowners to drop off wet and dry sandbags. The noelridge pool site opens at site opens at seven am saturday. Barack obam disaster declaration. It is currently to help allamakee, chickasaw, clayton, fayette, floyd, howard, mitchell and winneshiek counties. The money is designated for storms, Straight Line winds and flooding that happened between august 23rd and 27th. Fema will continue to see if additional designations will be added to this declaration. Within the next hour, the city will allow people who live or work in the evacuation zone from flood 2016 to get back within that area. But the flood evacuation zone wont open for the general public until 7 am tomorrow. Until then, the city is asking people who dont need to be downtown to stay away so large equipment can get in for cleanup. The city wants to make sure everyone can thoroughly clean up this weekend.
